Hero 11 App Not Installing? Troubleshoot Each APK Error

Download stuck or failed
- Open Chrome › ⋮ › Downloads. Paused? Tap Resume.
- Failed? Long-press it and delete it so you can’t install a broken file.
- Switch to steady Wi-Fi or strong mobile data; pause any VPN and battery saver.
- Go back to the Install page and tap DOWNLOAD NOW once. Keep Chrome open until it finishes.
Allow installation only for the app opening the file
Android asks you to allow the app that opens the APK — usually Chrome or Files. Tap Settings on the message and switch on Allow from this source, then go back and tap Install. Turn it off afterwards.
“App not installed”
- Low storage: free space in Settings › Storage, then try again.
- A different copy of Hero11 is already installed (for example from another website): Android refuses to replace it. Note your login details, uninstall that copy, then install the file from Hero11’s Install page.
- Two files with the same name: install the newest completed file and delete the rest.
“There was a problem parsing the package”
The file is incomplete or damaged, or not meant for your device. Delete it and download again on a steady connection. If it repeats, check your Android version in Settings › About phone and contact Hero11 Customer Service.
Play Protect warns about the file
Do not switch Play Protect off to push an install through. Delete the file, open the latest Hero 11 APK and download again from Hero11’s Install page. Files from chats and “mod” sites are the usual cause of warnings.
